Types of interpretation

1. Consecutive Interpretation (CI)

In this interpretation, the speaker will pause, enabling the interpreter to translate in brief intervals, sometimes in just a few sentences or sometimes in several minutes, during which the interpreter will take notes and then translate in segments. This type of interpreting requires the event organizers to allocate extra time because it takes approximately twice as long, as both the speaker and the interpreter take turns speaking.

2. Simultaneous Interpretation (SI)

With simultaneous interpretation, the speaker does not pause, but rather, the interpreter listens to the speaker over a headset, with a built-in three to five-second delay, to provide a near real-time translation. For this type of service, it is mandatory for interpreters to work in pairs on assignments longer than one and a half hours.

All our translations are done by professional translators who know and understand translation standards. They have undergone training courses in translation from various relevant institutions. Additionally, we conduct tests to ensure that our translators have the capability and expertise in the specific content area. Moreover, they are fluent in both source and target languages and understand the culture of both. Typically, our translation services come with a proofreading service before delivering to the client to maintain quality standards. During this process, we use native speakers of the language to ensure that the translation is complete and flows seamlessly.
